While the rest of my friends are complaining about the snow in April it's already hot and humid down here in Louisiana. It's amazing how the climate changes so drastically from one part of the country to another. I think right now I'm thankful for the warmth! So here's thinking warm thoughts for all my friends up north. Everyone keeps trying to scare us by telling us the summers are so hot and humid they're unbearable. I'm not convinced yet, but we'll see how I feel in a couple months! I may be eating my words.
I had another OB appointment today. I think I like this doctor more than the one in Utah. She's very friendly and listens. And the best part of all, she has three kids of her own. In my opinion, personal experience makes a good doctor great. Maybe that's why so many women choose to have midwives instead of obstetricians?
Finally, I'm feeling more settled in, even though we still have lots of unpacked boxes and can't park in our garage yet. Someday I'll locate the few important things that seem to be MIA, but for now, I'm good. After this little girl is born, I'll be more physically capable of moving boxes around, squatting, reaching, all that good stuff that makes moving possible.
