Utah!

We are so excited to be here in Utah. It was a big move for us, supported along the way by my parents, friends and of course, Joseph. Hailey is enjoying her new school (and all-day kindergarten) although she says she still likes her old school better. This school has it's strengths along with it's downfalls, but I'm trying to focus on its positives. I put her into the lottery for two charter schools for next school year. Keep your fingers crossed for her! Tyler is enjoying me staying home with him again during the day. It's been trickier getting my schoolwork done, but not impossible. Our rinky dinky apartment is working out wonderfully. It actually makes it easier to keep an eye on Tyler while I'm doing my homework. He can't go too far away and I can always hear exactly what he's doing! On our first day here, the water heater was ready to burst, spraying water all over the laundry room, so Joseph shut off the water. We didn't have ANY water for three days. Finally on the third day, I went upstairs to ask my neighbors how they were managing because I swore I could hear them flushing their toilet! It was taking three gallons to flush mine and they would flush theirs multiple times in a short period! They were shocked and said, "You don't have ANY water? We have cold just not hot." They felt really bad and Scott made sure to turn on the water for me during the day and he'd shut it off before he went to bed. Eventually we got a new water heater (5 days later) Tyler was taking a shower this morning and he says, "I'm so glad they put the fire in the water!"

Each day is filled with new adventures and exploring our new area. If you're in Utah give me a call, I'd love to see you! When I find my camera battery charger I'll take some pictures and post them.

Yeah for hot water! That happened when we first moved to UV! Not nearly as bad though. I remember the manager then telling us to come shower in her apartment in the morning! Awkward! You are a much stronger person than I could be and I really admire your positive attitude and how you keep your loved ones all around you. we sure miss you, and I'm glad to hear the updates of how you are doing. =)

Haha Fire in the water...so cute! Yeah apartments are good for being able to keep an eye on the kids for sure! Less mess to clean up too! I am finding this out now haha ;o) They have more space to SPREAD OUT! You will have to email me your address and ph# cause we may visit UT more than anywhere else...
