I'm So BUSY!

Wow! I haven't wrote on here in a while. I have been so busy with school I haven't much time for any extracurricular activities. The kids are adjusted well to me being a student. I make them my priority during the day and don't do any homework until they are in bed. It's worked out quite well and while the tidiness of the house has suffered at least my children have not. Sometimes I wonder if I'm crazy going back to school but I know this is a good thing for me to do. If it doesn't work out or my family is paying a price for it, I will stop going. My time with my family is most precious to me and I wouldn't trade it for anything, not even a college degree. Yesterday in church I grabbed a RS newsletter and was reading through it noticed my birthday on the list. Oh Yeah! I have a birthday coming up, I haven't given it much thought and was surprised that it's coming so soon! Where does the time go?

Here are a bunch of pictures we've taken. First of all, we were buried in snow during the Christmas break. It was a lot of fun to see how much snow we could get and then to see the power in the wind to cause 6 foot drifts.

Here is the view outside our front window...

We kept waiting for the picnic table to be completely buried.

To the left of this picture, the drifts were so high that the bottom level apartments couldn't see out their windows!
Hailey is modeling some of the Christmas gifts she was given. Thank you Grandmas and Grandpas!

This picture was taken 3 days ago, you can see that we still have lots of snow on the ground.

You know it's cold when even their tongues are blue!

We had Trevor's cousins over for dinner last Sunday and the kids had so much fun playing with their big (2nd) cousins. Do I look tired? That was at the end of my first long day with my new calling - 5 hours of church.

We changed the area under the stairs into the "library". The kids like to sit under there on the big pillows and read books together.

Here are a few more random pictures of the kids. Yeah, I still haven't figured out how to fix those sideway shots. Hailey was helping me get Tyler ready by combing his hair.

Hailey and her Play Doh dinner. She did those all by herself!

I could go on but it's way past my bedtime. I'll try to post more often but there's no guarantees!

Holly, I am so glad that you had Rachel, Tyler, and Barbara over. I hope we get to see them when we come visit you. Wow, you had lots of snow like us! The kids are getting big! I can see how they are changing, especially Hailey. You are a wonderful mom, Holly. Luv You.

Okay Holly when things get a little less crazy for you, you need to get some updated pictures. I hope Rexburg doesn't still look like this in April. ;) Can't wait to see you guys.
