Recently I applied for a part-time job to help fill in the gaps with my husband's work and school schedule and lack of money. I was so frustrated with the work history part because on paper I look like I've been doing absolutely nothing for abot 4 years!
Being a stay-at-home mom has been the hardest and most important job I have ever done in my life. So why can't I just staple a picture of my kids to the application and have it be self explanatory?

I didn't know you applied for a job! Where was that at? I think motherhood helped me be more confident & able to tell people how it is cause I have to do that daily with the kids LOL! I was so confident & didn't really care when I applied at Impact, but so glad I got it. I think because I wasn't nervous it helped. I think there are people out there that respect a woman that stays home with her kids. I know this post was like a year ago, but thought I would comment ;o)
